Philadelphia Archery & Gun Club Philadelphia, PA

When I first decided that I might want to take up target shooting back in 2004 I searched the yellow pages and randomly picked a place to go. As luck would have it that place was Philadelphia Archery & Gun Club. Great staff combined with top-of-the-line facilities made for a great place to learn to handle and own firearms safely.

The shooting range:
Their shooting range is all electronic and allows for friend/foe and timed shooting. They allow shooting or anything under .50 caliber so feel free to bring your .223 and .308 rifles (I often bring my M16, which they not only allow, but encourage.)

The shop:
Since 2004 I have purchased many firearms and almost all of them have been bought from Philadelphia Archery & Gun Club. In addition to a wide selection of guns PAGC has been doing a great job of expanding their on-hand selection of accessories such as holsters, optics and even caliber conversion kits that you don't normally see.

All in all I would recommend PAGC to anyone from the curious who have never fired a gun to the experienced shooter. Lastly, when you're done shooting you can walk a 2 blocks and get some Geno's or Pat's steaks!
